Short Biography

Dr. Turki Faisal Al-Rasheed is a visiting professor at the University of Arizona and an adviser at the American University of Beirut. He is the author of “Saudi Arabia's Transformation: Uncertainty and Sustainability” (Routledge, 2026).

Born in Makkah in 1954, Dr. Al-Rasheed studied Agricultural Engineering at the University of Arizona (1981), earned an EMBA from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (2002), and a DBA from Liverpool John Moores University (2001).

He is the founder and chairman of Golden Grass, Inc. — a leading firm in sustainable agriculture, agrochemicals, and environmental services in Saudi Arabia. He also founded the Saudi Voter Center to support civic engagement.
