Foreword
This book titled “The Road I Walk” has been prepared to save copy’s of all the materials been written about Golden Grass, Inc., Saudi Voters Center and Myself. It covers my 30 years of business experience and expertise. throughout those arduous years, I have remained firm in all my decesions either right or wrong.
I am planning to use this book as one of my future references as I am pursuing my Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) this June 2008 with Liverpool John Moore’s University, UK which I hope to finish by 2011.
At the age 50, earning a degree of Master in Business Administration (EMBA) at King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) Dharan in 2004, Saudi Arabia. I have learned more to communicate with people in different walks of life. It has provided me tools and help me to make critical decisions in business and in my personal life.
With God’s grace and help, I have surpassed all the hardship. This book is dedicated to my wife Mashael, my son’s Faisal, Abdullah, Meshaal, my daughter Haya and my first grandson Majid.
Summary
Turki Faisal Al Rasheed is a Riyadh base businessman. He is the Chairman of Golden Grass, Inc. and the founder of Saudi Voters Center. He is currently enrolled in the DBA program from Liverpool John Moores University.
Golden Grass, Inc. is an agriculture and contracting company, established in 1982 by Mr. Turki Faisal Al Rasheed,. Its business is diversified into Farming, trading of Agrochemicals, Animal Health , Environmental Health, Recruitment, Construction and Maintenance.
Golden Grass, Inc . in November 2, 2006, celebrated its 25 years of successful business in Saudi Arabia. Golden Grass, Inc. showcases its achievements on being the top exporter of peanuts in the Middle East and one of the top 100 companies in Saudi Arabia. It focuses also the present and futures plans of the company to spread its agriculture expertise in the Arab world. The highlights of the celebration was honoring it division with plaque of appreciation and citations, give away gifts and luncheon. The Celebrations was attended by Golden Grass, Inc. employees and staff.
Saudi Voters Center is a non-government & non-profit organization launch in 2004. The first bilingual website specialized in releasing, exploring and discussing all the latest issues regarding the Saudi Election. The internet has been proven to be a great means of disseminating information and reaching out to people worldwide through www.saudielection.com , it aims to reach out to the electorate for all the upcoming elections in Saudi Arabia and the world.
